From Two Young Lads with a Dream to One of York's Leading Christmas Tree Suppliers

Every Christmas tree has a story, and ours began back in 2017, with two young lads, a shared ambition and a love for the magic of Christmas.

What started as a small venture between two friends, Mikey and Louis, has grown into something we're incredibly proud of — Moor Lane Farm Christmas Trees, now one of York's leading suppliers of real Christmas trees.

Where It All Began

Back in 2017, we set out with a simple idea: to bring beautiful, high-quality real Christmas trees to families across York, while creating a friendly and memorable experience along the way.

We were young, enthusiastic and perhaps a little ambitious, but we had a determination to make something of our own.

Starting small, we put everything we could into building the business. From sourcing our first trees and welcoming our earliest customers to working long, cold days in the run-up to Christmas, every season taught us something new.

We quickly discovered that selling Christmas trees was about much more than simply finding someone the right tree. It was about becoming part of a tradition that families look forward to year after year.

Growing Together, Year After Year

Over the years, Moor Lane Farm Christmas Trees has grown far beyond what we first imagined.

From our humble beginnings, we've steadily built a reputation for quality, value and friendly, personal service. Today, we're proud to supply hundreds of Christmas trees each season to homes, businesses and organisations throughout York and the surrounding areas.

We've also had the privilege of supplying trees to some of York's most recognisable locations, helping bring festive cheer to places enjoyed by thousands of people every Christmas.

But despite how much we've grown, one thing has never changed — our commitment to giving every customer the same warm, personal experience that we offered from day one.

More Than Just a Christmas Tree

For us, Christmas has always been about creating memories.

We know that choosing a Christmas tree is a special occasion. For some families, it's a tradition passed down through generations. For others, it's the exciting beginning of their very first Christmas in a new home.

That's why we work hard to make visiting Moor Lane Farm an experience to look forward to.

From carefully selecting our trees to helping customers find the perfect shape and size, we take pride in the little details that make all the difference.

Whether you're looking for a small tree for a cosy living room or a spectacular centrepiece for a large venue, we're always happy to help.

Proudly Independent. Proudly Local.

As a locally owned and independently run business, we're incredibly grateful for the support we've received from our community over the years.

Many of our customers have been visiting us since our earliest seasons, and seeing familiar faces return each Christmas is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Every recommendation, every returning customer and every family that chooses to make Moor Lane Farm part of their Christmas tradition means a great deal to us.

It's that continued support that has helped turn a small idea between two friends into the business you see today.

The Story Continues…

Nearly a decade after selling our first Christmas trees, we still have the same excitement and enthusiasm for the festive season as we did back in 2017.

We're always looking for ways to improve, grow and make each Christmas at Moor Lane Farm even better than the last.

What began as a dream has become something truly special, and we couldn't have done it without the incredible support of our customers.

From our first Christmas in 2017 to today, thank you for being part of our story.

We can't wait to welcome you back to Moor Lane Farm this Christmas.
